Description
The Rosenberg Railroad Museum's mission is to preserve the rich railroading history of Fort Bend County and to provide entertaining and educational experiences. The Museum is home to a fully restored 1879 private railcar, Caboose and Tower 17, the last operating interlocker tower in Texas, plus has a gallery that houses our railroad artifacts. In addition, the Garden Railroad features a depiction of the historic towns of Rosenberg and Richmond. The Rosenberg Railroad Museum offers a variety of educational classes, field trips and hosts three major public events each year; WinterFest in January, RailFest in April and Fall Fun Fest in September. Please visit our website for more details.
