Description
Features artifacts and information on all railroads in the Denison and Texoma area. Offical Repository of Artfifacts for the Katy Railroad Historical Society. Current discussing planning and fund raising for upcoming cosmetic restoration of the only surviving Katy F-Unit, F-38B number 401B.
Directions
From Oklahoma, Exit 73 - US Hwy 69, South apoximately three miles to Main Street, turn left and go two blocks. Turn left before railroads tracks at the Katy Depot. From Dallas exit at right at Spur 503, go north into Denison, becomes US Hwy 69, turn right at Main St. Two blocks East to Katy Depot.

Free Admission, parking outside front door on track side of Historic Katy Depot. Two blocks east of US Highway 69 on Main Street in Denison Texas. Many railroad artifact displays, mutimedia theather showing train videos and movies, computer train simulator. Seeking volunters who can work one day per month in the museum. Knowledge about trains or railroads not required.
