Description
he Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad offers many exciting trips throughout the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The Cuyahoga Valley National Park is one of the only few National Parks that have a free entry. Although the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad is not a free ride, they do offer discounted tickets for many event, and for the 2016 season, they have lowered the normal ticket price.(To celebrate the National Park Centennial). Please see CVSR.com to get the correct ticket price for your ride. Each ride is normally 3 hours long. You can buy food, clothing and other souvenirs in the concessions car. There is also a thing called the bike-aboard program. This program allows you to ride your bike on the towpath trail in one direction, then ride the CVSR back to your car (or vice versa). Tickets for the bike-aboard program usually run about $3. Another program that they ran over the summer was call read-aboard. This program took children through the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, and there was crafts, snack, reading, and other activities to do. They also do Polar Express runs starting in November and runs through December.
