Description
Started in 1972, is dedicated to preserving and interpreting the early history of Currie, the Shetek area and its 20th Century railroad history, including the Currie manually operated turntable and depot. People of all ages and backgrounds can learn about Currie’s history through narratives, programming, exhibits, and publications. The park is open 10am-5pm Memorial Day through Labor Day with guided tours every hour beginning at 10:30am or by special appointment April, May, September and October.
