Description
The Bedford Boomers is mostly an HO modular club in southern New Hampshire, but any modeler or rail enthusiast is welcome. We have no dues, no officers, and no politics. Our weekly meetings move around, to include work projects here and there and a monthly business meeting at the Bedford, N.H., Library on the 4th Tuesday of each month (check Web site).

Our main fund raiser is a grand show on the first Sunday in November, which for the past 24 years has been held at McKelvie Middle School in Bedford. There is no admission fee for this show; a free will offering is accepted.

The host club layout (different each year) typically fills 1 1/2 basketball courts. Fifteen other clubs of various scales fill the school, and we often have live steam in the parking lot. It's the largest annual model railroad show in New Hampshire. There are no vendors!
