Description
The BSME layouts and exhibits occupy approximately 3000 square feet. There are two layouts, each one is 12 x 65 feet.

Visitors will see model trains and trolleys in O and HO scale; static model displays; and Pennsylvania Railroad K-4 steam locomotive bell, whistle, and builders' plate. On the walls of the layout rooms are heralds from the paint shops of railroads that criss-crossed the United States in the 1950s, as well as photographs from the clubs history and publicity shots from railroad equipment manufacturers.

The HO layout is a Class I double track mainline operation modeling a route from Baltimore, MD to Wheeling, WV.

The O scale layout is a single track operation set in the late steam early diesel era with rolling countryside and interchanges with the overhead electrified trolley running the 65' length of the layout.
