Description
All aboard for fun at Tampa Train Day!

On Saturday, May 13, historic Tampa Union Station will host model train displays, exhibits from area history organizations, special programs, food, live music and much more.

Tampa Union Station, constructed in 1912 and listed in the National Register of Historic Places and a City of Tampa-designated Landmark, has been the home for passenger trains in Tampa for 105 years.

Still an Amtrak station to this day, Tampa Union Station is known as one of Florida's best historic preservation "saves" among historic railroad structures.

Join the volunteers of the nonprofit Friends of Tampa Union Station, organizers of this event, as we celebrate railroading's past, present and future!
