Description
The annual Midwest Short Line and Regional Railroads Conference is around the corner and you will want to be there for the fun and timely conversation. Our gathering draws approximately 150 railroad management, employees, suppliers, and shippers, as well as a number of local, state, and national officials. This year's conference will again feature keynote speakers on engaging topics important to the industry, peppered with fun activities offered by Madden's including a kickoff Golf tournament on Sunday.
It is time for a New North American Rail Strategy? This year’s theme, “Railroads Beyond the Renaissance,” offers a chance to understand what the industry must do to regain its position in the transportation market. We will get advice from leading industry analysts as well as lawmakers and government regulators. Breakout sessions will look at ways that small railroads can use Big Data, learn where to get funding for locomotive upgrades, and better manage your workforce in a changing employment environment. In addition, we will hear the latest on what happened (or didn’t happen) at the State Legislature, this year, and handicap the upcoming election season.
Speakers will be announced shortly, but you can register now!
A reminder to all registrants that you must reserve your hotel accommodations separately from this sign up and they are not included in your conference registration fee.
Hotel rooms have been blocked off for this event, so when you call Madden’s to reserve a room at 1(800)247-1040, please let them know you are with the railroad conference! You may also reserve a room by visiting www.maddens.com.
