Description
The 80th Snoqualmie Railroad Days festival showcases Snoqualmie’s “Trains, Timber, Traditions” on August 17 -19, 2018! Join the fun with a train excursions to the top of Snoqualmie Falls during the Railroad Days festival. Railroad Days highlights the uniqueness of Snoqualmie’s past, present & future! Music, Arts, Wine & Beer Gardens get rolling at 5 pm on Friday, August 17. And there are lots of family fun activities on Saturday and Sunday!
Begun as a fundraiser by volunteer firemen and their wives in 1938, the popular community event is still going strong. Produced today by the Northwest Railway Museum, the festival promotes small town spirit and the uniqueness of Snoqualmie with family fun in mind. Snoqualmie Railroad Days is celebrated in and around the Snoqualmie Depot and historic downtown Snoqualmie.
The festival includes: a Pancake breakfast put on by Fire Department volunteers, Live entertainment, Beer and Wine gardens, Yummy festival food, a Grand Parade, Arts and Crafts vendors, a Children’s Field of Fun and wagon rides. Add historic train rides, model trains, Timbersports shows, History Comes Alive, Artists-in-action, and the Legends Classic Car show and you know it’s going to be a fun weekend. Be sure to visit the dress selfie photo area in the Gazebo, too!
